Q: How do I start?
A: 1 - Unzip MenuBar ReArranger 2, and launch it. Once launched, MenuBar ReArranger 2 will check that it is located in the /Applications folder. If not, MenuBar ReArranger 2 will ask you the permission to move itself.
2 - MenuBar ReArranger 2 will ask you to install an Apple Script Helper. To know more about this helper, visit the FAQ. MenuBar ReArranger may ask you to restart your Mac.
3 - Click on MenuBar ReArranger 2 icon in your menu bar, and select 'Manage Items'.
Q: What are the profiles?

MenuBar ReArranger 2, bring the concept of profiles. Create different state of the menu bar, the way you wish to see it. Then in one click you can go from one to another profile. The 'Current Items Order' is what is currently in your menu bar. Use can use it for a quick re-order, or hide all your items, or ...
Profile 1 & 2 are the one you define as you want. Click on the reload button on the bottom left, this will create a copy of the items currently in your menu bar. ReArrange them as you see fit. And select 'Apply in MenuBar'.
The last selected profile is used at login.
Q: How to hide all my icons?
A: Add the 'Behind the Curtain' by clicking the little curtain icon. And place it where you want in your list. All the items below will be hidden.
Q: How to create group of icons?
A: Add a 'Flexible Space' by clicking the flexible space icon. Place it where you want in your list. This will create a space between your icon. To Adjust the space width, go to the 'General' tab, and adjust the width. You can add as many 'Flexible Space' as you need.
Q: Little snitch doesn't respect the order, what to do?
A: By default, Little snitch block the Apple Script command. But no problem. Go to little snitch preference menu. Select 'Security & Privacy' and enable the 'Allow Scripting Additions' checkbox. You are done. You may have to restart MenuBar ReArranger 2 after that.
Q: What is the 'Expand MenuBar' menu?
A: Expand MenuBar will clear your menu bar from any application menu. To bring back the application menu, just click on any windows on your desktop.
Q: How to see what is hidden?
A: Every time you expand your menu bar, the curtain will open and you will see all the hidden items.
Q: Can I use MenuBar ReArranger to launch my apps?
A: Historically MenuBar ReArranger was as well a launcher. MenuBar ReArranger 2 keep this as a feature. If you wish to keep a tight control on your items launch at login, you can activate this feature. Once this feature is activated, MenuBar ReArranger 2 will launch or close your apps as defined in your list.
Q: What is the 'Hide Window' option in the profile list?
A: If you have selected the feature to use MenuBar ReArranger 2 as a launcher, this column will appear in your list. If an app open a window when launched, you can choose this option to hide the window of the app.
Q: What is the 'Apple MenuExtra' item in the profile list?
A: All the Apple Menus (battery, network, bluetooth, ...) are seen as 1 item by MenuBar ReArranger 2. They are part of 1 single process called SystemUIServer. In the current version, MenuBar ReArranger 2 can move this item anywhere you want (prior El Capitan). But not the sub-items of the Apple Menus.
Q: How will I know when an update is available?
A: MenuBar ReArranger 2 include an updater. You will be informed automatically when an update is available. Or select the menu 'Check for Update...'
Q: How to uninstall MenuBar ReArranger 2?
A: Go to the About menu and click the 'Uninstall' button. This will remove the Apple script and remove MenuBar ReArranger 2 from your system.
